A lesson in falconry and raptors in education: From Chintimini Wildlife Center, both Claire and Kathleen will do a presentation on wildlife rehabilitation, falconry (history etc), and then how we actually train our education birds to do the behaviors we want them to do (using falconry techniques). Then we'll have wildlife artifacts (skins, wings, skulls, etc) for people to view, touch, and ask us questions after. Claire Peterson is Chintimini Wildlife Center's veterinarian and falconer, Kathleen Dodge is the Raptor Education Program Director.
